To Cut the Mustard is a lifestyle blog focused on providing home improvement tips, easy to follow recipes, interesting productivity hacks and even travel tips.
The name To Cut the Mustard was inspired by the famous idiom “cut the mustard” which means “to succeed, or to do adequately what needs to be done.”
It came from the idea (or rather reality) that we all want to be excellent at something at some point, but we never give so much effort on taking the steps to becoming one. We believe that before you meet excellence, you need to have the courage to start doing something first – but that’s also the challenging part.
That’s why TCM exists – to guide and inspire you to start doing something by sharing with you our latest projects, activities, getaways that are inspired by the same mantra “Do It,” so you can either do the same, or create your own one.
“The greatest tragedy in life is not death; the greatest tragedy takes place when our talents and capabilities are underutilized and allowed to rust while we are living.” -Amma
